Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is offering a Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship within our Flood, Coast and Environment Team in Swansea. This exciting opportunity allows you to earn while you learn, combining practical, hands-on experience on real civil engineering projects with one day per week at university to complete your degree. Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for civil engineering, flood management, coastal protection, and environmental projects. Ideal candidates will have:

A strong desire to study a civil engineering degree (part-time)

An interest in problem-solving and infrastructure challenges

Strong mathematical skills and confidence using spreadsheets

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

A keen interest in flood risk, coastal management, sustainability, and environmental matters

About the Role

Office-based in Swansea with opportunities for site visits

Hands-on experience supporting Binnies’ Flood, Coast and Environment Team

Exposure to UK projects in flood risk management, coastal protection, and environmental enhancement

Opportunity to contribute to projects across other offices and locations in the UK
