Health, Safety & Environment Advisor Groundworks & Civils Portsmouth, Hampshire £50,000£60,000 Vehicle/Allowance Benefits A respected, family-owned civil engineering contractor is looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join a major earthworks and infrastructure project near Portsmouth, with additional support across sites in Kent. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with operational teams, and making a real impact on safety, compliance and environmental performance across busy civils and groundworks operations. ? What Youll Be Doing Carrying out site inspections, audits and toolbox talks Supporting teams with RAMS, incident investigations and corrective actions Keeping all H&S and environmental documentation up to date Leading environmental and sustainability initiatives Promoting a strong safety culture across earthworks, highways and civils sites Liaising with clients, auditors and regulatory bodies ? What Were Looking For NEBOSH qualification (essential) IOSH Managing Safely or similar (advantageous) Experience in groundworks, civils or construction Good understanding of CDM and environmental legislation Confident communicator who is proactive and hands-on Full UK driving licence ?
