Recycling Operative with FLT – West Bromwich
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative with FLT to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands.

Shifts

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00

Friday: 07:00 – 14:30

Day-to-Day Duties
-
Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
-
Load, unload, and move materials around the yard and warehouse
-
Conduct pre-use safety inspections and report any faults to management
-
Receive and check incoming goods for accuracy and quality
-
Assist with general yard duties such as tidying, organising stock, and preparing loads
-
Support warehouse operations as required
-
Adhere to all site health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills
-
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)

Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck

Good communication and teamwork skills

Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail

Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Desirable Experience

Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment
Training Provided
Full training provided – assessment required prior to start
