RSK Geosciences an RSK Group company are recruiting for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join the team based in Bristol, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Managing geoenvironmental monitoring and sampling fieldworks; activities including gas and ground water monitoring, in-situ geotechnical testing, stockpile and soil sampling

Supporting the site engineers in undertaking initial site walkovers and delivering ground investigations

Managing samples and data collected as part of ground investigations

Production of factual field recorded reports for the geoenvironmental monitoring

Qualifications and Experience:

A Levels/Highers/HNC in maths, English and science subjects

BSc degree level qualified in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related subject advantageous but not essential

CSCS card advantageous however not essential

Full UK Driving Licence

Previous similar work experience in particular environmental monitoring is desirable but not essential, however a basic understanding of site works and field investigation is preferable. Full training will be given
