RSK Ireland Geo - Environmental Team are now hiring for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and a chance to get involved with a vast array of projects ranging from large scale brownfield site development, landfill investigations, contaminated site investigations, renewable energy projects and hydrogeology specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking Preliminary Risk Assessments / Preliminary site Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies) and intrusive site investigations for environmental purposes

Soil and rock logging to current standards

Groundwater and surface water sampling

Managing fieldwork activities and subcontractors

Supporting and co-ordinating a variety of projects

Preparing health and safety documentation, booking subcontractors and scheduling soil and water samples for analytical and geotechnical testing

Person Specification:

BSc degree level qualified in Geology or a related Environmental subject

MSc in Engineering Geology/Engineering or Contaminated Land related subjects preferable but not essential

Previous site experience would be an advantage.

Interest in site investigations techniques, basic contaminated land assessment.

Understanding of laboratory testing and interpreting results with working knowledge of geotechnical and environmental guidance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual

Candidates must be willing to spend a significant amount of their working day out on site and away from home.

Full driving licence and access to a car.
